Wayne M. Newman, 83, father of an Amherst man, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999.
He was born May 12, 1916, in Cokato, Minn.
He was married to Eva Christine Lahr on March 29, 1939. She survives.
Survivors beside his wife include two sons, Dale (Carol), Amherst, and Gary, Twin Cities area; three daughters, Judy Splett, Jean McKenney and June McDonald, all of the Twin Cities area; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
