Mary R. Hencik, 82, 1320 Post Road, Plover, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church with the Rev. Pat Umberger officiating. Burial will take place later in St. Bronislava Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Jensen and Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the services at St. Bronislava. The rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hencik was born March 22, 1917, in Plover, a daughter of the late Charles and Anastasia (Sniadajewski) Zynda.
She was married to Michael Hencik on Oct. 5, 1940, at St. Bronislava Church. He died on June 3, 1995.
She worked for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for more than 20 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Josephine (Marvin) Novak, 631 Fourth St., Plover; one son, Joseph (Ann), 2451 Red Pine Drive, Plover; one brother, Isadore Zynda, Plover; one sister, Victoria Tylka, Whiting; and four grandchildren.
