LeRoy E. Harks, 89, 1793 Ole River Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at River Pines Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Boston Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Kozlowski officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his name.
Mr. Harks was born Oct. 1, 1910, in Milwaukee, a son of the late William and Katherine (Daly) Harks. He attended Milwaukee schools.
He worked in banking for a brief time and then began his career with the Heil Co., Milwaukee, where he worked until retiring as a production control manager in 1975.
He was married to Kathleen Silampa on Aug. 19, 1946. She died Oct. 27, 1980.
He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. He enjoyed golf, photography and reading.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia (Patrick) Byrum, Stevens Point; one son, Terry (Pamela), Sullivan; one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
A sister, Marie, preceded him in death.
