Hedwig A. Kawlewski, 67, 8748 Highway BB, town of Almond, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at her residence. She was under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
There will be no services and private family burial will take place at a later date.
Friends and relatives of the family are invited to gather at her home on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Kawlewski was born June 23, 1932, in the town of Linwood, a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Rucinski) Swiander.
She was employed at Ore Ida Foods, retiring in 1994.
She was married to Joseph Bella. The couple later divorced.
She was married to Sylvester Kawlewski on June 21, 1985, in Stevens Point. He survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Irene (David) Peterson, Custer; three sons, David Bella, Wisconsin Rapids, Joseph (Jacqueline) Bella Jr. and Ricky Bella, both of Plover; seven stepdaughters, Elizabeth Richard, Watertown, Shirley (Robert) Niemczyk, West Allis, Mildred (Roger) Zblewski, Plover, Judith (William) Kropidlowski, Stevens Point, Rose (Joseph) Salvinski, Mosinee, Linda (Randy) Krutza, Illinois, Debra (Arlen) Kluck, Plover; four step sons, Thomas (Cheryl) Kawlewski and Lawrence (Heather) Kawlewski, both of Stevens Point, Kenneth (Audrey) Kawlewski, Illinois, and Daniel (Laurie) Kawlewski, Bancroft; four sisters, Betty (Thomas) Bella Sr. and Joan Swiander, both of Stevens Point, Dolores (Charles) Deuel, Whiting, and Theresa (James) Weisbrod, town of Hull; one brother, Frank (Melva) Swiander, Nebraska; 12 grandchildren; 31 stepgrandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
