George J. Moen, 90, Waco, Texas, father of a Stevens Point man, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at a Waco Hospital.
Funeral services were Thursday at First Lutheran Church, Waco. Burial was in Waco Memorial Park. Visitation was at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, Waco.
Memorials have been established at First Lutheran Church of Waco or Ollie Mae Moen Discover Center c/o Strecker Museum Complex at Baylor University.
Mr. Moen was born Nov. 30, 1908, in Waco, a son of the late Rudolph and Anna (Gunderson) Moen.
Survivors include his wife, Ollie Mae Moen, Waco; two sons, the Rev. Al, Stevens Point, and Jim, Waco; four grandsons and three great-grandchildren.
