Frank W. “Rocky” Rothrock, 88, Fremont, a Plover native, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at his home.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with his nephew, the Rev. William Grevatch, and the Rev. Bert Samsa, OFM, concelebrating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega.
Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church until the services. The Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Sts. Peter & Paul Altar Fund.
Mr. Rothrock was born May 11, 1911, in Plover, a son of the late Frank G. and Etta (Sweet) Rothrock.
He was married to Mary Ann Nolan on Jan. 17, 1938, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She died Sept. 21, 1986.
He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church and an honorary member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.
He was employed by the Appleton Post Crescent and then became vice president of Valley Press in Neenah where he worked until retiring in 1970.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Rothrock, Fremont, and Nancy Lee (Jon) Gresenz, Sturbridge, Mass.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
