Esther A. Schultz, 79, Almond, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at the Portage County Health Care Center where she was a resident.
The Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Almond with the Rev. Charles Hiebl officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery in the town of Belmont.
Visitation was scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church, with a general rosary at 7:30 p.m. Hardell-Holly Funeral Home of Almond assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Schultz was born May 3, 1920, in Downers Grove, Ill., a daughter of the late Edward F. and Catherine (Ciesla) Lein.
She was married to Charles W. Schultz Sr. on Sept. 13, 1941, in Downers Grove, Ill.
She worked for a number of years at Sears & Roebuck in Stevens Point.
She taught CCD classes for many years.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, James (Leanne), and Charles Jr., both of Almond; four sisters, Lorraine (Erwin) Cichy, Downers Grove, Ill., Gerry Yudchitz, Naperville, Ill., Shirley (Stanley) Rubis, Mountain Home, Ark., and Marjorie (Len) Randa, Oswego, Ill.; three brothers, Edward M. (Frances) Lein, Almond, Donald (Helen) Lein, Newark, Ill., and Robert (Mary) Lein, Downers Grove, Ill.; and three grandsons, Brandon, Blake and Brent Schultz.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty and Dolly.
