Virginia Ann Bender, 61, Plainfield, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Services were Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church in Plainfield with the Rev. Gregory Coulphard officiating. Burial was in Plainfield Village Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the church Tuesday evening and prior to services Wednesday. The Leikness Funeral Home of Wautoma assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Bender was born July 2, 1938, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Cleo E. and Florence (Nigh) Butts.
She was married to Clarence B. Bender on Sept. 22, 1956, in Plainfield.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Shelley (Peter) Kovach, Stevens Point; two sons, Bruce “Chip,” and Brett (Stacy), both of Plainfield; two sisters, Linda (Bill) Golla, Plainfield, and Carol (Tom) Wall, Berlin; and three grandchildren.
