Theresa E. Gawlik, 76, 2917 Water St., died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stephen Catholic Church with the Rev. Dan Kozlowski officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. St. Peter’s Rosary Society and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Gawlik was born Jan. 2, 1923, in the town of Dewey, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Hintz) Koback.
She was married to Alex Gawlik on Nov. 21, 1938, at St. Peter Catholic Church. After their marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point. He died Jan. 7, 1998.
She was employed for Normington Drycleaning and Dunrite Cleaners for a number of years.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Rosary Society, Rose 41, for 41 years and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas for 21 years.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Carol) and Richard, both of Stevens Point; two daughters, Esther (Chester) Zelinski and Audrey Faust, both of Stevens Point; four brothers, Robert Koback, Ervin (Jan) Koback, Donald (Deloris) Koback and Steven (Diane) Koback, all of Stevens Point; three sisters, Mona (Ray) Flaig, Lucille Konopacki and Lorraine (Ralph) Studinski, all of Stevens Point; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by an infant son; one brother, Harry; and one sister, Eleanor.
