Margaret L. “Marge” Trierweiler, 88, Minocqua, formerly a resident of Stevens Point, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Wauwatosa.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at St. Stephen Catholic Church with the Revs. Daniel Kozlowski and John Paul Klein officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 105 a.m. Saturday at Boston Funeral Home.
Memorials are being directed to the Oblates of the Virgin Mary.
Mrs. Trierweiler was born Oct. 31, 1910, in Wausau, a daughter of the late Herman J. and Jennie (Donahue) Lemke. She graduated from Wausau High School and received a degree in dental hygiene from Marquette University in 1930.
She was married to A.M. “Pete” Trierweiler on Oct. 8, 1943, in Neenah. He died April 30, 1956. The couple owned and operated the Nu-Tred Tire Co. in Wausau and Green Bay from 1939-49.
She was an oral hygienist for the city of Fond du Lac from 1955-57 and in Stevens Point from 1957 until her retirement in 1975. She also worked as a dental hygienist for various dentists throughout the state.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Minocqua and a former member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She was also active in the leadership of the Girl Scout program.
She is survived by a daughter, Ann Trierweiler, Milwaukee.
She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Dennis.
