Lori E. Wachter, 38, Winneconne, a Stevens Point native, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at her home.
Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 16, at Faith United Methodist Church in Neenah with Pastor Steve Foster officiating. Burial was in Winnconne Cemetery.
Visitation was held Friday at the Mueller Funeral Home in Winneconne and Saturday at the church before services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her honor.
Mrs. Wachter was born Jan. 29, 1961, in Stevens Point, a daughter of Michael and Delores (Grubba) Liebe.
She graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
She was married to James Wachter on March 7, 1981, and they lived in Neenah before moving to Winneconne in 1994. She was employed as a teacher’s aide in the Winneconne School System.
She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Neenah.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Vanessa, at home; one son, Brandon, at home; her father, Michael (Lucille) Liebe, Stevens Point; her mother, Delores Liebe, Stevens Point; two brothers, Dr. Alan Liebe, Burnsville, Minn., and Patrick (Connie) Liebe, Stevens Point; and one sister, Sandra (Todd) Allen, Neenah.
