Dr. Frank A. Kaye, 79, Wausau, a Polonia native, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, at his home under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wausau with the Very Rev. William Grevatch officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
Visitation will be at the Peterson Funeral Home and Crematory, Wausau, from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the services. There will be a combined Knights of Columbus and parish vigil service Monday night at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be directed to Comfort Care and Hospice Services or St. Michael Catholic Church.
Dr. Kaye was born Nov. 13, 1919, in Polonia, a son of the late Frank and Mary (Haka) Kaye.
He was married to Bernice Megal on April 28, 1951, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher. She survives.
He was a dentist, practicing in Wausau for 39 years.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Wausau; two sons, Jeffrey (Debra), Minneapolis, Minn., and Warren (Jennifer), Wausau; two daughters, Allison (Michael) Wenzlick, Green Bay, and Vanessa (Gary) Travers, Texas; and five grandchildren.
