Donna M. Rosenthal, 66, 1290 Okray Drive, town of Carson, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, at St. Michael’s Hospital from complications of respiratory disease after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Alan Burkhardt officiating.
Visitation will be at Shuda Funeral Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and at the church from 9 a.m. Monday until the services. A Bible vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. Joseph’s Congregation Endowment Trust.
Mrs. Rosenthal was born Oct. 23, 1932, in Sheridan (Waupaca County), a daughter of Phillip and Laura (Sharafinski) Golke. She graduated from Waupaca High School.
She was married to Lawrence Rosenthal on Nov. 9, 1957.
She was an organist at St. Peter Catholic Church and St. Mary Catholic Church of Torun before becoming the organist at St. Joseph for the last 24 years.
Mrs. Rosenthal worked for McDonald’s Abstract Co. and Central Wisconsin Title and Abstract Co. until working for Associated Bank for the past 13 years.
She had also been religious education administrator at St. Peter Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Rob and David (Renee), both of Stevens Point, and Dan (Linda), Brookfield; and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
