Daniel V. Pliska, 66, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospice, Marshfield.
Funeral services were Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Dennis Worzalla officiating. Burial was in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation was held Friday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home.
Mr. Pliska was born Feb. 4, 1933, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Victor and Lucy (Filipp) Pliska. He attended local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1951.
He was employed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for more than 30 years as a project engineer.
Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy (Gerald) Repinski, and Mary Ann (John) Jakusz, both of Whiting; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Conrad and Alfred.
