Charlotte I. Meronek, 78, Amherst Junction, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at her home.
Funeral services were Friday at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst with the Rev. Gretchen Anderson, pastor of Peace Lutheran Church in Amherst, officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst.
Mrs. Meronek was born Aug. 28, 1921, in Portage County, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Morey) Keenlance.
She was married Joseph P. Meronek on March 28, 1942, in Plainfield. He died Nov. 20, 1959.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Amherst.
Survivors include three daughters, Jeanette Erickson, Rosholt, Pat Moe, Iola, and Sherry (Del) Hansen, Amherst; one sister, Ilah Sullivan, Plainfield; one brother, Jim Keenlance, Plainfield; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, five brothers and a grandson.
