Carrie C. Clark, 95, Portage County Health Care Center, died there early Wednesday morning, Oct. 27, 1999.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Boston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 1 p.m. Saturday until the services at Boston Funeral Home. There will be an American Legion Post 6 Auxiliary ritual at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
A memorial in her name is established for Peace United Church of Christ.
Mrs. Clark was born April 13, 1904, in Maiden Rock, Wis., a daughter of the late Charles and Louise Johnson.
She was married to Allen Clark on June 18, 1923, in St. Paul, Minn. He died in 1944.
After the marriage they moved to Stevens Point.
She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, its Women’s Guild and American Legion Post 6 Auxiliary.
She was a homemaker and did child care for many families in the area.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Dorothy), Stevens Point; two daughters, Doris (Al) Ostrowski, Mesa, Ariz., and Carol (William) Kollock, Bancroft; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Charles; a brother, Chester; and a sister, Florence.
