Barry Lee Hoffman, 33, 6633 Second St., town of Stockton, died at home on Sunday, Oct. 24, 1999 while under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover with the Revs. Matt Mallek and Susan Gaul officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Corners Cemetery in the town of Buena Vista.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
A memorial has been established in his name.
Mr. Hoffman was born Feb. 1, 1966, in Stevens Point, a son of David and Judith Hoffman. He graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 1985.
He was married to Margo Stroik at Good News Fellowship Church on Oct. 12, 1991. She survives.
He was employed on the family dairy farm.
He received a liver transplant at the University Hospital in Madison in March 1995 and recently developed Burkitts lymphoma.
Other survivors include his parents, Stevens Point; one brother, Keith (Susie), Stevens Point; and two sisters, Tammy (Lonnie) Sankey and Lori (Jeff) Konkol, both of Amherst.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ricky.
