Robert Donald Ingersoll, 69, 525 Court Ave., Junction City, died Monday night, Sept. 6, 1999, in the emergency room at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Committal services will be held at Bloomer City Cemetery in Bloomer at 10 a.m. Saturday. There will be no public funeral service or visitation.
The Martens/Kundinger Funeral Home of Junction City assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Ingersoll was born Sept. 5, 1930, in Abbotsford, a son of the late Kenneth and Edith (Dombrove) Ingersoll.
He was served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired as a petroleum truck driver for Indianhead Truckline after several years of service.
He was married to Muriel L. Erickson in 1970 in Sioux Falls, S.D. She died on July 4, 1990.
Survivors include one son, Robert John, Junction City; one daughter, Kami Sue, Junction City; two stepsons, Scott (Mary) Kempe, Chippewa Falls, and Bill (Mary) Kempe, Fifield; two stepdaughters, Wendy Putney, New Auburn, and Michelle (Dan) Polencheck, Chippewa Falls; four brothers, Marvin (Betty), Adams, Kenneth (Dixie), Colby, Neal, (Carol), Racine, and Harold (Susan) Abbotsford; and two sisters, Gladys Tichy, Hibbing, Minn., and Jean (Dave) Johnson, Marshfield; and 13 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald, and one sister, Arlene Leightman.
