Lucille M. Kubowski, 84, a former town of Carson resident, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at River Pines Center, Whiting, where she had been a resident since Dec. 24, 1994.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. The Rev. Daniel Kozlowski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Bartholomew Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the church.
The Martens/Kundinger Funeral Home of Junction City assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Kubowski was born Nov. 5, 1914, in the town of Carson, daughter of the late Anton and Agatha (Zadrozewski) Demski. She attended Lieutenant Mallory School in the town of Carson until the eighth grade.
She was married to Theodore S. Kubowski on Feb. 5, 1934, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. After their marriage, they farmed in the town of Carson until they retired in 1969. They continued to reside on the farm until she entered the nursing facility. He died Nov. 1, 1989.
Mrs. Kubowski loved to sew, cook and farm. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Church and a charter member of the Rosary Society of St. Bartholomew.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard (Veronica) Kubowski, and Raymond (Patricia) Kubowski, both of Stevens Point; one daughter, Rose Krebsbach, Grafton; one granddaughter and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
