Lucille H. Swanson, 83, Plum City, mother of a Stevens Point man, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at the Chippewa Valley Hospital, Durand.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Sabylund Lutheran Church, Lund, with the Rev. Lynne Rigg officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Rhiel Funeral Home, Durand, and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
Mrs. Swanson was born May 24, 1916, in the town of Maiden Rock, Pierce County, to the late Emil and Selma (Julian) Hoffman.
She graduated from Maiden Rock High School.
She was married to Rudolph Swanson on Nov. 20, 1943, in Red Wing, Minn. He died Dec. 31, 1986.
After their marriage, the couple lived and farmed in the town of Maiden Rock. They moved to Plum City in 1983.
Survivors include one son, Gary (Marie) Swanson, Stevens Point; one daughter, Greta (Steve) Baehnman, Weyauwega; one sister, Hazel Nelson, Plum City; and one granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
