Herman E. Kaukaskie, 94, River Pines Center, died Saturday evening, Sept. 25, 1999, at the center.
There will be no public services. His body will be cremated and his ashes scattered by his family.
Boston Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Kaukaskie was born May 24, 1905, in the town of Linwood, a son of the late Charles E. and Frances (Petska) Kakaska.
He worked in road construction most of his life.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Donna) and Donald (Irene), both of Dubuque, Iowa; two daughters, Delores (Dave) Scholfield, Wausau, and Carrie Perrini, Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
