Dorothy A. Raflik, 85, 310 Frontenac Ave., died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at the Portage County Health Care Center.
Funeral services were Tuesday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Mill Creek with the Rev. Dan Kozlowski officiating. Burial was in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the Shuda Funeral Chapel on Monday and at the church prior to services Tuesday.
A memorial has been established to Hospice of Portage County.
Mrs. Raflik was born May 22, 1914, in the town of Hull, a daughter of the late Matthew and Anna (Sharkowski) Shuda.
She attended St. Casimir schools.
She was marred to Joseph Raflik on June 6, 1933, at St. Casimir Catholic Church. He died Aug. 17, 1969.
She worked at St. Michael’s Hospital in the pediatric ward until her retirement in 1979.
Survivors include five sons, Jerry (Sharon), Jamestown, Ohio, Jack (Darlene), Montello, Chet (Darlene), Stevens Point, Joseph (Ruth) Sheboygan, and Patrick (Kathy), Stevens Point; five daughters, Joanette Suchon, Ann (Rich) Somers, Aggie Hausman, Kathy (Don) Wisinski, all of Stevens Point, and Dorothy (Bill) Sankey, Plover; 43 grandchildren; and 52 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jim; two sisters; 11 brothers; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
