David Konkol, 58, a Stevens Point native, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at his home in Elk Grove Village, Ill.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Grove Memorial Chapel, Elk Grove, Ill., with the Rev. John Robinson officiating.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the chapel.
Mr. Konkol was born Nov. 18, 1940, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Clements and Eleanor Konkol.
He retired after 30 years of employment with Roadway Freight Co.
Survivors include one son, Michael; on daughter, Kathy (James) Lee; three sisters, Lorraine (Edmund) Kruzicki and Reneta (Wayne) Miller, both of Stevens Point, and Rosalie (Tom) Modrzewski, Plover; and four grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard.
