David A. Sawall, 16, Waupaca, a former Stevens Point boy, died on Monday, Sept. 20, 1999, as a result of an automobile accident.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 3 until 6 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. At the request of the family, no service will be held.
A memorial has been established for a future skateboarding park in the Waupaca area.
David was born May 9, 1983, in Stevens Point, a son of Don and Deborah (Vance) Sawall. He was a student at Waupaca High School. He had attended Stevens Point schools prior to that.
Survivors include his parents; one sister, Martha, at home; two brothers, Jacob and Tim, both at home; and his maternal grandfather, Eugene Vance, Menasha.
