Conrad E. Stroik, 69, 1703 N. Torun Road, town of Hull, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999, at his home while under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun with the Rev. Donald Walczak officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Visitation was held Friday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church.
Mr. Stroik was born Sept. 8, 1930 in Stevens Point, a son of the late Andrew and Regina (Hintz) Stroik.
He was married to Caroline Piotrowski on Nov. 5, 1951, at St. Peter Catholic Church.
He was employed with Vetter Mfg. Co., Ben Scipior Construction and C.G. Smith Construction.
He was a former constable for the town of Hull.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randy (LuAnn), and Jerry (Judy), both of Stevens Point; one daughter, Diane (Ed) Wojtalewicz, Stevens Point; one brother, Andrew “Jack” (Dorothy) Stroik Jr., Mosinee; one sister, Darlene (Thomas) Kieliszewski, Stevens Point; and six grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
