Georgia Klimowitz, 84, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, at the Bethany Home in Waupaca.
Private interment of ashes will be held at a later date in the Park Cemetery, town of St. Lawrence, Waupaca County.
Memorials in Mrs. Klimowitz’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society or a library of the donor’s choice. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Klimowitz was born Nov. 13, 1914, in Shiocton, a daughter of the late C.L. and Eunice (Budd) Booth. She grew up in Iola, moving to Stevens Point in 1934.
She was married to Steven Klimowitz on April 28, 1934, in Waukegan, Ill. He died June 24, 1988.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley (Bruce) Summers, Lake Villa, Ill., and Paula (Douglas) Summers, Amherst Junction; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother.
