Charles J. Adamski, 64, 2430 Sunset Court, Plover, died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, in Oneida County.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church with the Rev. Pat Umberger officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery, Wausau.
Visitation was held Wednesday at Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home, Plover. Memorials may be designated to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Mr. Adamski was born Oct. 10, 1934, in Wausau, a son of the late Charles and Viola (Luedtke) Adamski.
He graduated from Wausau East High School in 1952 and received a bachelor of science degree in business in 1958 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his certified public accountant designation in 1960.
Mr. Adamski received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UW-Oshkosh in 1973.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Adamski was married to Henrietta Marie Turzinski on Aug. 30, 1958.
He worked as an auditor for the state of Wisconsin from 1959 to 1967, when he joined Sentry Insurance, where he worked until retiring in 1994.
He was a board member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and was a member of St. Bronislava Church.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Wausau; two daughters, Debbie (Patrick) Burke, McFarland, and Dori (Brent) Wilde, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, Brian (Christine), Edgerton, and Rod (Tonia) Cottage Grove; three sisters, Barbara Adamski, Wausau, Caroline (Dave) Graefe, Wausau, and Shirley (Dave) Ness, Fond du Lac; and five grandchildren.
