Ronald C. Kowaleski, 61, 7056 Highway N, Bancroft, died Tuesday, July 27, 1999, at St. Michael’s Hospital. He was under the care of the Hospice of Portage County.
Funeral services were held Friday at St. John Catholic Church in Heffron with the Rev. Charles Hiebl officiating. Visitation was held at the church Friday before the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Hospice of Portage County or to the Salvation Army. The Jensen & Jinsky Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Kowaleski was born March 26, 1938, in Wild Rose, a son of Catherine (Zelinski) Kowaleski and the late Charles Kowaleski.
He was married to Diana Missar on Feb. 27, 1965, at St. John Lutheran Church in the town of Wein, Waushara County. He was a union carpenter and worked with heavy construction until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Wild Rose; one daughter, Patti Quinette, Stevens Point, one son, Mark, Stevens Point; three brothers, Casmir (Donna), Kileen, Texas, and Jerome (Maria) and Dennis (Judy), both of Wild Rose.
