Marian M. Gornicke, 80, 4705 N. Sunset Drive, town of Dewey, died Monday, July 5, 1999, at her residence.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Casimir Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald Walczak will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home and again on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The St. Casimir Christian Womens Society will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Gornicke was born July 15, 1918, in the town of Dewey, daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Krayecki) Lewandowski. She graduated from Liberty Bell School in the town of Dewey.
She was married to Adam Gornicke on April 20, 1939, at St. Casimir Catholic Church. After the marriage, the couple settled in the town of Dewey, where they farmed. They retired from farming in 1978. Her husband died Nov. 1, 1987.
Mrs. Gornicke was a member of St. Casimir Christian Womens Society. She enjoyed gardening, and her flowers and vegetables.
Survivors include one son, Donald (Monica) Gornicke, town of Dewey; three grandchildren; and one brother, Raymond (Mary Ann) Lewandowski, Stevens Point.
Besides her husband, one son and two brothers preceded her in death.
