Margaret M. Janikowski, 80, formerly of 5972 Highway 66, died Sunday evening, July 18, 1999, at the River Pines Living Center.
Services were held Wednesday at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Church, Custer. The Rev. Robert Schaller officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
The Shuda Funeral Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Janikowski was born Feb. 14, 1919, in Detroit, the daughter of the late John and Martha (Langmesser) Laskosky.
She was married to Vincent Janikowski on May 3, 1952, in Dearborn, Mich. The couple moved to Stevens Point after their marriage. He died Dec. 1, 1972.
Mrs. Janikowski was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis Janikowski, Stevens Point, John D. Janikowski, Rosholt, and Francis (Laura) Janikowski, Stevens Point; five grandchildren; five sisters, Eleanore (Tony) Sanko, Detroit, Theresa (Pete) Yanne, South Gate, Mich., Lorraine (Irvin) Germaine, Lincoln Park, Mich., Jeanette (Herb) Tinkham, Hudson, Fla., and Mary Alice (Tom) Roney, Dearborn Heights, Mich.
