Edward S. “Steve” Liebl, 84, Wisconsin died Thursday, July 22, 1999, at the House of the Dove Hospital Home in Marshfield, where he had been admitted on July 2.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Milladore, with the Rev. John A. Wisneski officiating.
Friend may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the services.
Martens/Kundinger Funeral Home in Junction City is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Liebl was born Aug. 3, 1914, in Auburndale, a son of the late Anton and Anna (Linzmeier) Liebl. He attended St. Kilian School in Blenker through eighth grade. He was married to Arnetta A. Lake on Nov. 20, 1939, at St., Mary Catholic Church in Colby.
He farmed in the town of Milladore and also was a mason for Ellis Stone Co. He belonged to the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman, Local 6 of Wisconsin Valley for 40 years. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; one sister, Ida Sobota, Leesburg, Fla.; and one brother, Louis, Phillips.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark; three brothers and six sisters.
