Edward A. Kubowski, 55, 1314 Highway 10, town of Carson, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, July 10, 1999, at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Services were held Tuesday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. The Rev. James Benzmiller officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Kubowski was born Feb. 6, 1944, in Stevens Point, son of the late August and Rose (Gburek) Kubowski. He attended local schools.
He was married to Susan Mayek on June 27, 1964, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point. After their marriage, the couple settled in the town of Carson, where they have lived at their present address the past 35 years. She survives.
Mr. Kubowski worked for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for the past 33 years as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved the outdoors.
Besides his wife, survivors include two daughters, Charisse (Tony) Wanta, and Cassandra (Rusty) Krutza, both of Stevens Point; one son, Christopher Kubowski, Stevens Point; three grandchildren; one sister, Gertrude (Jerome) Przybylski, Plover; and two brothers, Alois (Christine) Kubowski, Stevens Point, and Herman (Marie) Kubowski, Racine.
One brother preceded him in death.
