Edmund M. “Breezy” Brezinski, 84, 801 6th Ave., Stevens Point, died Thursday, July 15, 1999, at St. Michael’s Hospital. He was under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 19, at St. Peter’s Church with the Rev. Dennis Worzalla officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. The general rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Brezinski was born Aug. 5, 1914, in Marathon County, a son of the late Frank and Nellie (Mallek) Brezinski. He was married to Alice Kitowski on Sept. 14, 1940, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Mill Creek. She died March 23, 1971.
He was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc., Stevens Point Division, for 33 years, retiring in 1977.
Survivors include two daughters, Anita (George) Walters, Stevens Point, and Judy (Bradley) Sanvick, Minnesota; two sons, Gerald (Nancy) Brezinski, Minnesota, and Duane Brezinski, Minnesota; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
