Charlotte “Shirley” Zimbauer, 65, 1279 Highway J, town of Sharon, died Thursday, July 29, 1999, at her home.
Services were held Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia with the Rev. Marcin Makowski officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Visitation was held at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home. The Rosary Society of Sacred Heart Church, of which she was a member, combined with the general rosary.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name to the Hospice of Portage County would be appreciated.
Mrs. Zimbauer was born July 26, 1934, in the town of Sharon, a daughter of the late Wallace and Anna (Soik) Budzinski.
She was married to Donald Zimbauer Sr. on Sept. 1, 1952, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia.
She worked for Vetters Mfg./SNE Enterprises for 33 years until her retirement on March 14.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Cynthia (Patrick) Kosmalski and Laurie (Dennis) Kosmalski, both of Rosholt; one son, Donald (Delores) Zimbauer Jr., Stevens Point; three sisters, Caroline (Joseph) Omernik, Rosholt, Mary (William) Theel, New Berlin, and Jeanette (George) Wierzba, Milwaukee; and five grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
