Angeline E. (Elizabeth) Danczyk, 92, 2613 Willow Springs Drive, town of Dewey, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 10, 1999, at her home.
Services were held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun. The Rev. Mark Danczyk officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Danczyk was born Feb. 25, 1907, in Laona, a daughter of the late John and Martha (Szczesny) Dulak. She moved to the town of Dewey in 1911, where she attended Rockland School.
She was married to Bernard “Barney” Danczyk on Nov. 3, 1925, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun. After their marriage, the couple settled in the town of Hull, where farmed all their lives. He died June 13, 1974.
Mrs. Danczyk worked as a school clerk for 12 years for Torun School until the school district was consolidated. She was a member of the St. Mary of Torun Rosary Society and was a minister of prayer and praise. She enjoyed gardening, canning fruits and vegetables. She also enjoyed sewing and was an avid reader, both in English and Polish.
Survivors include two daughters, Regina Eckland and Cecelia (Bernard) Hoppa, both of West Bend; seven sons, Casimir (Eileen) Danczyk, Stevens Point, David (Adeline) Danczyk, Stevens Point, Raymond (Josephine) Danczyk, Milwaukee, Harry (Jeanette) Danczyk, Stevens Point, Norbert (Ann Marie) Danczyk, Janesville, Clarence Danczyk, Stevens Point, and Dennis (Ruth) Danczyk, Stevens Point; 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; eight sisters, Emily Gonsiorowski, Stevens Point, Regina Danczyk, Stevens Point, Theresa (Leonard) King, Stevens Point, Helen Helminiak, Manitowoc, Martha (William) Sarna, Chicago, Betty (Mario) Mancini, Peoria, Ariz., Veronica Roberts, Winfield, Ill., and Hedwig (Albin) Napiwocki, Mosinee; and two brothers, Steve Dulak, Stevens Point, and Bernard (Isabell) Dulak, Milwaukee.
