Robert J. Strykoski, 75, 2037 Lincoln Ave., died Friday, June 25, 1999, at his home.
Services were held Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Gerald Fischer officiated. Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery, Junction City.
Shuda Funeral Chapel assisted the family with arrangements.
Mr. Strykoski was born Jan. 29, 1924, in Milwaukee, son of the late Frances (Strykoski) Price.
He entered the U.S. Army on Feb. 1, 1943, in Milwaukee. He served as a military policeman and achieved the rank of Tech 5. He received the American Theater Service Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged on Feb. 19, 1946, at Camp McCoy.
Mr. Strykoski went to work for Consolidated Papers in 1949. He was a finishing and shipping superintendent until his retirement in 1986.
Survivors include two sisters, Bertha (Irv) Anderson and Bonnie (Mike) Zblewski, both of Stevens Point; and a brother, David Price, Florida.
