Richard C. Barden Sr., 78, Wisconsin Rapids, died Sunday, June 27, 1999, at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Services were held Wednesday at Boston Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis Lynch officiated. Burial was in Linwood Union Cemetery.
Mr. Barden was born July 8, 1920, in the town of Linwood, a son of the late Charles and Myrtle Barden.
He worked as a clerk at Patterson Plumbing Supplies in Wisconsin Rapids before his retirement.
Survivors include three daughters, Joan Barden, Stevens Point, Diana (Merlin) DeByl, Linwood, and Joyce (Fred) Lewandowski, Linwood; two sons, Richard (Karen) Barden and Dennis (Kathy) Barden, both of Linwood; two sisters, Lula Waltenberg, Stevens Point, and Wilma (Glenn) Christison, Plover; two brothers, Steve (Henrietta) Barden, Whiting, and Claude (Minnie) Barden, Stevens Point; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren
