Martha M. Zdroik, 87, formerly of 1300 Briggs St., died Monday, June 28, 1999, at Portage County Health Care Center.
Services were held Thursday at St. Stephen Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Zdroik was Aug. 13, 1911, in the town of Sharon, a daughter of the late John and Antoinette Repinski. She attended the former Tomorrow River School in the town of Sharon.
She was married to Edmund Zdroik on Aug. 1, 1936, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Polonia. After the marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1974.
Mrs. Zdroik was employed at St. Michael’s Hospital for a number of years. She was a member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters St. Elizabeth Court 879 and St. Stanislaus Rosary Society Rose 13 since 1942.
Survivors include four daughters, Patricia (Donald) Lilyquist, Stevens Point, Judith (John) Gosh, Stevens Point, Marlene (Harry) Behm, Stevens Point, and Carol (Michael) Degeneffe, Oak Creek; two sisters, Mae Netzler and Laura Binczak, both of Milwaukee; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
One son and five brothers also preceded her in death.
