Lana M. Lukasavige, 39, 5423 Golla Road, died Friday evening, June 25, 1999, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison following a battle with diabetes and organ transplantation.
Services were held Tuesday at the Sisters of St. Joseph Convent Chapel. The Rev. Thomas Lindner officiated. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
The Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. A memorial in her name will be established at a later date.
Mrs. Lukasavige was born Nov. 28, 1959, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Leonard and Marion (Koziczkowski) Hucke. She attended local schools and graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in 1978.
She was married to Jeff Lukasavige on Feb. 16, 1980, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. After their marriage, the couple settled in Stevens Point. He survives.
Mrs. Lukasavige worked in floral design at Linda’s Floral & Gifts and Rose Pedals in Copps Foods until her retirement in 1996.
Besides her husband, survivors include one son, Randy Lukasavige, Stevens Point; two sisters, Linda (Ron) Piotrowski, Appleton, and LuAnn Throndson, Minneapolis; and two brothers, Leonard (Lori) Hucke Jr., Sheboygan Falls, and LeRoy (Vicki) Hucke, Big Fork, Mont.
A brother preceded her in death.
